FUEL FILTRATION WATER SEPARATORS English

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING RACOR SEPARATORS?
Every RACOR separator removes the 100% of the water from the fuel. Either it is oil or gasoline.
- Mechanical Part: The fuel, following a predetermined path within the separator, is separated from the water, forcing it to escape by falling into the lower transparent container and remaining there even while the vessel or vehicle is moving (when there is turbulence in the fuel tank) . Also, by the same method, particles of dirt, rust, etc., are discharged, which transports the fuel up to the motor from 2 to 30 microns (depending on the type of replacement filter)
- Chemical Part: All RACOR separators are equipped with AQUABLOCK® (International patent of RACOR 1983), which has a chemical-impermeable coating. Thus even emulsified fuel (ie fuel and water after strong agitation and flow form milky compounds and are not readily separable), the fuel is separated by 100% from the water which is then settled at the bottom of the separator.
- Solid particles: Each RACOR replacement retains, as mentioned above, solid particles of 2, 10 and 30 micron (2/1000, 10/1000 and 30/1000 mm) rust pollutants, also suitable for gasoline. However, it does not retain mixing oil dissolved in the fuel when it comes to two-stroke engines.
3.1 All parts have vertical pleats on their outer and inner sides resulting in a larger filter surface at the same filter diameter as conventional ones. Thus, the filter has a longer life span since it can retain more pollutants.
3.2 All metal parts have been removed from the filter grid, avoiding the adhesion of water droplets (bonding is the result of counter-ion - cations of the water droplets with the metallic mesh - anion). The effect of the above electrochemical process is the disruption of the filter paper surface infiltrations.
3.3 All parts due to the chemical process of waterproofing do not soften (over time, as opposed to conventional filters) the fuel waters and thus do not lose their stability and do not pierce, retaining water and pollutants from its fuel engine.
Each RACOR separator contains:
1st) Transparent bowl allowing control of presence of dirt or water at the bottom. The bowl is re-used and is not destroyed by chemical fuel additives or ultraviolet rays (U.V.)
2nd) Stabilizer lever for removing trapped water in the engine stop which does not require opening the filter and forced ventilation (self-extinguishing valve).
3rd) Fuel pump integrated in the separator head (models 320, 460, 490, 4120) to fill it with fuel in case of replacement of the replacement filter.
4th) Slot for water sensor presence in the filter separator dirt basin
5th) High-quality, non-erodible materials with a time-saving feature to ensure the filter's operation is smooth (in the Greek market there are 17-year separators in full operation)
6th) Excellent Certificates. US Coast Guard USC.G. they use them for several years as they have been approved for this use. Also used in the Navy, OSE. Greek Coast Guard.
7th) Flexibility in installation since many separator models have heads with multiple inputs and outputs. No special tools are required to replace the filter
8th) Ease and short time required to change the replacement filter in the 500 FH, 900 FH, 1000 FH series, since only the unscrewing of the throttle located at the top of the separator head is required to remove it. For this series no tools are needed.
Each RACOR separator also contains:
1st) Separators’ coupling (two or three) with flow selection valves. This enables the engine to operate with a separator while changing the filter or removing the water stored at the bottom of the filter.
2nd) Water presence sensor in the filter separator dirt basin
3rd) Steering lever for removing trapped water while the engine is running. With the help of an electronic controller when water is present at the bottom of the filter so as not to interfere or smooth operation of the motor, we command a solenoid valve to remove it from the filter while the engine is running without getting air or feed line.
4th) Pressure gauge indicating status of the replacement filter
5th) Heaters which allow fuel heating when the vehicle is operating at low ambient temperatures so that no paraffins are formed
We provide wide variety of models for each horsepower requirement and installation conditions
